House ERE, Health Committees to Examine Modern Medicine, Health Care Impacts of Oil and Natural Gas Byproducts

WHAT:     PA House Environmental Resources and Energy (ERE) Committee Chairman Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) and House Health Committee Chair Kathy Rapp (R-Warren/Crawford/Forest) will convene a joint public hearing focusing on Oil and Natural Gas Byproducts: Powering Modern Medicine and our Health Care System.

WHO:     The hearing will feature presentations from Patrick Flaherty, vice president, supplier performance and decision support, UPMC; Carl Marrara, vice president, governmental affairs, Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association; Melanie Ricci, director, procurement, Penn State Health; Dan Weaver, president and executive director, Pennsylvania Independent Oil and Gas Association; and Robert Whedon, director, stakeholder engagement, American Chemistry Council.

WHEN:      Tuesday, June 7, at 10 a.m. 

WHERE:     Room 515, Irvis Office Building, State Capitol Complex, Harrisburg.
