Rapp: $400,000 Awarded for Cambridge Springs Project

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — Rep. Kathy L. Rapp (R-Warren/Crawford/Forest) announced today the Office of the Budget has awarded $400,000 to Active Aging Inc. in Cambridge Springs to cover the demolition costs associated with a blighted nursing home. The funding is being awarded through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP).
“I’m grateful to see this project receive state support,” Rapp said. “Addressing blighted properties is essential to strengthening community health, safety and revitalization, and this investment will help clear the way for a new opportunity in Cambridge Springs. I appreciate Active Aging’s commitment to improving local quality of life and supporting progress that benefits residents and the broader region.”
The RACP is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the design, acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects.
