Rapp Returns as House Health Committee Chairman, Full Lyme Disease Treatment Coverage Among First Priorities

HARRISBURG – Now officially serving in her first full term as the state House Health Committee Chairman, Rep. Kathy Rapp (R-Warren/Crawford/Forest) announced today that she is reintroducing legislation (formerly House Bill 174) that would require health insurers to cover treatment plans for Lyme disease or related tick-borne illnesses as prescribed by a patient’s health care practitioner.

Rapp Announces $24,000 Awarded to Warren and Crawford Rural Fire Departments

WARREN — In conjunction with Fire Prevention Week, Rep. Kathy Rapp (R-Warren/Crawford/Forest) announced today that five rural fire departments in the 65th Legislative District have been awarded approximately $24,017 in grant funding. The funds are to be used for training and equipment purchases directly related to fighting brush and forest fires.

Rapp Announces $40,000 Sewer Improvement Grant for Bloomfield Township, Crawford County

TITUSVILLE — Rep. Kathy Rapp (R-Warren/Crawford/Forest) announced today that the sewer system located in Bloomfield Township, Crawford County, will receive a much-needed boost through a grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority’s Small Water and Sewer program. Approximately $40,000 has been awarded to the Bloomfield Township Sewage Authority to assist with necessary pump station upgrades.

Regional College Project Awarded $500k State Grant
